Halloween

What a fun Halloween we had this year!  The weather was beautiful..no bundling up with gloves and coats this year.  The kids each had a party in their classrooms as well as we were out at noon.  We headed over to Grammy and Papa's house for some early trick or treating and to show off the costumes.  Megan really enjoyed the pink hair and was a bit sad to see how quickly it would wash off, she was hoping to keep it for awhile.  Heather loved having make-up on, she would wear it daily if allowed. :)  After a while we headed off to Jeff's work where he has trick or treating.  The kids didn't need to go anywhere else after that, but Benjamin convinced us that "he still had to practice his trick or treating."  Afterwards we went to a neighborhood potluck party for dinner, games and music.  I love this tradition that they have started for us.  Rachel especially loved the dancing and wanted to dance the night away.  It started to sprinkle a bit so we headed off for the neighborhood to continue to fill our already full bags, hoping that the rain would die down, which it did.  After a few hours we headed to my sister's house and sorted through the candy.  Isn't that the best part of Halloween...the trading and counting of the goods?? :)

I was going through my past Halloween pictures and found these...how quickly they grow up!!
