This past week we had quite a treat (and some exercise too). Twice a week Joe does a "concert" from the bell tower on the carillon bells. We were lucky (or not so lucky) to climb the 100+ winding staircase up to the top and get a sneek peek inside. Megan played for the entire BYU campus I Know That My Reedemer Lives and Benjamin played his Halloween song that he has created. We had a great time and are glad that we only had to climb those stairs once!! Thanks Joe for such a fun day!!

Welcome Sam and Wild
Both Jeff and I are not really pet lovers so when the kids ask for any kind of pet it's an immediate NO! Benjamin's Aunt Beth gave him a frog house for his birthday back in January. It did have a frog in it until just shortly before she gave it to him...Well we have been able to stall until now...Benjamin now has two fire belly toads. Every Saturday morning the frog house gets cleaned and so the kids get to play with the frogs. They love it!! Benjamin is "teaching them some tricks and Wild is starting to learn not to jump out of his hands." Oh, you can't forget the weekly trips to get the live crickets..a few of those have escaped. So our family size has grown!!
Snow In October
Yesterday morning we woke up to snow. I immediately knew that this year I would not be able to keep Rachel inside!! As we pulled up the blinds, she was so excited, "SNOW, SNOW, SNOW" and then responded "my jacket." She had a great time playing and wasn't too anxious to come inside. By the end of the day it had pretty much melted but it showed me just a little glimpse of what lies ahead. :)
