Both Jeff and I are not really pet lovers so when the kids ask for any kind of pet it's an immediate NO! Benjamin's Aunt Beth gave him a frog house for his birthday back in January. It did have a frog in it until just shortly before she gave it to him...Well we have been able to stall until now...Benjamin now has two fire belly toads. Every Saturday morning the frog house gets cleaned and so the kids get to play with the frogs. They love it!! Benjamin is "teaching them some tricks and Wild is starting to learn not to jump out of his hands." Oh, you can't forget the weekly trips to get the live crickets..a few of those have escaped. So our family size has grown!!

Hey, those are some pretty cool frogs. How are they doing? Benjamin, what have you been teaching them lately?
I was teaching the light green frog (Wild) how to climb the bucket. And I taught the dark green frog (Sam) how to walk. We thought that Sam had almost died. Rachel might have squeezed it a little too much. He was very weak and limp and even changed to a darker color. But after a few hours mom found him hoping around the kitchen counter. He had actually jumped out of the bucket. He was fine!!!
