Disneyland

Last week we made a quick trip to California to visit Disneyland.  We had a great time.  The kids did better than I expected in the car (we have all seats filled now).  Tiffany enjoyed being held for most of the day..  While in California we also saw lots of family!!  It was fun spending time with everyone..I appreciate the efforts everyone made to come and visit us..Thanks also to Jeff's parents for having everyone over and to Denise and Ben for letting us hang out with you for 2 days.  It was fun!!

We are back to reality now though..the kids only have 2 1/2 more weeks of school, yikes..what to occupy our time with in the summer??  I'm the kind of person who likes schedules but as I'm getting older I'm also getting a bit more laid back realizing that change in those schedules can be a good thing.

Tiffany's Blessing

2 weeks ago we blessed Tiffany Marie.  A neighbor made her dress..isn't she beautiful!  She was quiet all during the prayer.  What a special day it was for our family.  Tiffany is now 2 1/2 months old.  She really is a great baby.  She is talking lots and loves to give smiles.  She pretty much sticks to the normal schedule of eating and sleeping and oh yeah how could I forget the pooping too.

Isn't it funny how when babies toot it's cute and funny but as you get older it's no longer cute and funny??..What about chubby babies...how come it's so cute when their little but when they get older they are now considered overweight???  Well so much for my random thoughts....

Tiffany Marie

Wow, 2 weeks already where is the time going???  Notice the blond hair...People ask if it's been an adjustment and to be honest, it feels like she belongs and there isn't any other way to have it!!

"Our Whole Family"

It's nice to have Tiffany here in our home with us!  Each of the kids love her- she is never left alone!!  There's always someone wanting to help get the bottle, feeding her, getting the diaper, changing the diaper, wiping the drips as she's eating, getting the pacifier, reading her a story, helping with the bath, waking her up when needed (and not needed) and I don't think that anyone has ever received as many kisses as she has gotten.  It's been nice to have Grandma Susie here for the past week, the extra set of adult hands was great to have!!

Anytime we are all together Rachel gets excited and says, "this is our whole family."   Tiffany loves to be held, she is quite the cuddly one and nuzzles herself right up underneath your neck...we stay up late and then she's sleeping for about 3-4 hours at night, which makes life bearable the next day!!

Charlotte's Web Play

Benjamin has been practicing his "Mr. Arable" part now for 3 months.  This past week we were able to see how his hard work has paid off.  He did a great job memorizing his part as well as others.  We were told by him to make sure to bring flowers and/or balloons to give him.  In asking him what for the response was, "to let me know that I did a great job."  And no a hug and a kiss and telling him exactly that was not good enough, "you always do that, I want something different."  A note was left in the refrigerator REMEMBER bring flowers or balloons.  Grandma and I got a great laugh out of it.
